ABOUT TAOW PHOTOGRAPHY

HI THERE!

Ride with empathy

Hi, I'm MotoPoet

My name is Chelsea, and my photography journey began in mid-August 2025—the same month I passed my full motorcycle license. I’ve been riding since 2023, starting on a 125cc twist-and-go scooter, and later upgrading to a Honda CBF 125cc. While I may upgrade again someday, for now, I’m fully enjoying the ride. There’s nothing I love more than capturing the pure joy riders feel with their bikes. The connection between a rider and their machine is extraordinary, and my goal is to freeze that beauty in every shot I take.

I’ve always been drawn to capturing the world in intricate detail, which naturally led me to pursue motophotography. Throughout my life, I’ve picked up new techniques, built meaningful connections, and continue to refine my craft—hoping others will one day experience the images I create from the ground up. Like everyone, I have my priorities, and mine revolve around the open road, paired with a hot chocolate and music that fuels the creative focus.

Self-belief has never come easily, and I never imagined I could capture images that would resonate well with others. That changed when I started riding myself. Riding and photographing bikes became my way of expressing emotion, managing my mental health, telling stories of liberty, power, and the connection between rider and machine. Each shot is an attempt to freeze the thrill of the open road, the rider's pride, and the beauty of every bike in stillness. Motorbike photography isn’t always easy. I face creative blocks, struggle to find the perfect angle, and sometimes doubt if I'm truly up to the task. It’s easy to compare your work to others, but believing in your vision and pushing through challenges is what leads to growth. The world of photography is competitive, yet every frame I capture, every rider I help celebrate their machine, makes the journey exhilarating and deeply rewarding.

This is more than a job for me; it's a way to celebrate the riding community and the machines that bring us together. So whether you ride a retro cafe racer, a 125cc, a sports-tourer, or something custom-built, I'd love to help you show it off the way it deserves to be shown.
